How to write a Product Launch Press Releases

Writing a good press release for your new product launch it’s only the tip of the iceberg.  And though in no way this DIY approach will ever replace the art and years of experience of the quality in a professional written piece, we want to share with you the basics behind it.

Name

Company

Telephone number

Email address

Headline (no more than 6-8 words)

Subhead(no longer than 20 words)

Location – Date – COMPANY NAME, company description, announced today the availability of PRODUCT NAME, short description of product.

Paragraph1 – Describe new product and how it has been improved, or what need it fills

Section 2 – Describe functionalities

Section 3- If available: quote customer using the product

Section 4- Quote from executive or product manager regarding why this release is important

About Company – include a ‘boilerplate’ paragraph on the company
